Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DOX OÜ (registry code 12878245, Tallinn, Estonia) handles personal data when you visit dox.ee or order a subscription. Contact: bark.me@dox.ee.
1. What data we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone number (if given), delivery address and country.
- Dog details: name, size, age, allergies and preferences you give us so we can personalise the box.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and your subscription status.
- Messages: emails you send to us.
2. Why we use it and on what basis
- To fulfil your order and deliver your box (performance of a contract).
- To manage your subscription, payments and renewals (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions and support you (legitimate interest and contract).
- To keep accounting records as required by law (legal obligation).
3. Who we share data with
Only with service providers that help us run the shop, under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe (payments and subscription portal)
- Netlify (website hosting and order forms)
- Resend (sending transactional emails such as order confirmations)
- Delivery carriers (name, address and phone number needed for delivery)
- Behold (displays our Instagram posts on the site)
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order and subscription data while your subscription is active and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements (in Estonia, generally 7 years for accounting records). Other data is deleted when no longer needed.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email bark.me@dox.ee and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
